San Diego heavy metal fans donned their favorite black concert t-shirt and other studded duds for opening night of Accept’s “Blind Rage” world tour that kicked off in Solana Beach’s Belly Up Tavern on September 11, 2014.

Head banging fans rocked devil horns and pumped clenched fists to the fast heart pounding drums and awesome guitar riffs of the underrated metal guitarist, Wolf Hoffman.

The german heavy metal band is out promoting its fourteenth studio album, “Blind Rage” released August 15, 2014. This show was the first of only four US tour dates, including a stop in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York City after that they are off to tour through Europe, Japan, Australia and back to Europe in late November.

After a last minute cancellation by Metal Church due to a band illness, the seasoned english heavy metal band, Raven stepped in to support Accept for the remaining US tour dates. Bassist John Gallagher mentioned that Raven is celebrating 4 decades this year, founded in 1974.
