Thirty Seconds to Mars supporting Linkin Park’s Carnivores tour brought an over the top production of theatrics, confetti, beach balls and flags to Sleep Train Amphitheater in Chula Vista, California on Tuesday September 16, 2014.
Thirty Seconds to Mars, front man and actor, Jared Leto knows how to work the crowd and woo the ladies. The heartthrob’s blue and white smock and jeweled headpiece barely remained on his chiseled body for the first few songs.
Stopping between songs , Jared took a poll of all the “crazy people” in the audience asking who has seen Thirty Seconds to Mars before some screaming and clapping ensued he then asked “is this your first 30 seconds to mars show?” more people cheered. He welcomed all the newcomers but questioned “what the f*** took you so long?”
Shirtless and running through the audience Jared Leto sang Kings and Queens making his way out to the second tier of audience and finished off the song. As he made it back to the stage, he met San Diego’s local independent radio 91x contest winner, Tessa who won the opportunity to come on stage with him and take a selfie. Congrats Tessa!
Thirty Seconds to Mars was out promoting their recent album: Love Lust, Faith and Dreams.
The Carnivores tour wrapped up on September 19, 2014 at Wheatland, California.
